Dropclock

Dropclock is an very strange and intriguing screensaver from tha ltd. Every minute of real time is expressed with heavy Helvetica numbers dropping into water in a ultra slow-motion. Strange but cool!

the downloadable archive file for mac osx doesn't work here. tried downloading several times with and without download accelerators. sounds like a really good idea, tho.

This is beautiful and whatnot, but the function of a screen-saver is to save the screen... it does this by staying in motion, preventing certain things from being burned into your screen.

I've Dropclock working on my machine now, chugs a little even with a hi-spec mac. Nice though

It's a very nice clock, talking about clock... but talking about screensaver I agree with dagnis, doesn't work so well... but it's a really cool clock!

it does look great, but my PowerBook G4 won't take it, rather not to try

I saw this at TypeNeu, and downloaded it right away.
Yes, it may not be the best as a screensaver (specially the type on the bottom and top of the screen because they stay still and that's what you are looking to avoid on a screensaver. But, it does looks amazing.

Niiiice .downloads.

Was tricky to get the download working, but got it eventually. Looks very cool and runs OK on my G4 Powerbook, but takes a while to kick in and I agree, although it looks nice, it's not the most practical screensaver out there.
